For all years (decades?) I’ve been successfully emailing I just received one of my top 5 favourite subject lines: Questions…for NASA!

Amazing. I’ve so many!

I’m arranging an interview with a talented and brilliant lass who works at the JPL (The Jet Propulsion Laboratory…they operate NASA’s Deep Space Network). And the PR NASA rep needs to approve my questions…probably in some vain hope I don’t ask about Roswell or moon landing conspiracies.

(To be fair to NASA I’m totally the idiot that’d ask about Roswell with a straight face…and yo…so Area 51…where or what happened to Areas 1-50?? but thankfully JPL’s work does involve space robots…like that’s an actual phrase. So I’m happy good.)

JPL also consults with various sci-fi tv shows and movies…when you see a Hollywood movie that actually gets science right (i.e. in space no one can hear you scream) that’s because they listened to these wonderful eggheads.
