PSA: For any of my Facebook friends who enjoy the darker Darth Vader side of the internet…you know nude midget wrestling (Mexican or traditional…), would you rather lick it or smell it and other assorted seedy sites that require a history deletion please be aware that the Facebook app will pick up the sounds of those sites and broadcast it to us, your Facebook friends.

I’m already deleting my internet history…don’t make me delete yours too. I got stuff to do…

“Facebook unveiled a new audio recognition feature on Wednesday which, when turned on, will identify songs or television shows that you’re listening to, in hopes you’ll share that information with your friends.

With the update, the Facebook app will use the phone’s microphone to listen in on noise and sounds nearby. The feature is able to identify millions of songs and TV shows from 160 different stations.”
