The NY Times calls Karen Berger “Comics’ Mother of ‘the Weird Stuff.”

The rest of us know her as the founder/editor of Vertigo Comics which gave us Y The Last Man, 100 Bullets, Alan Moore’s Swamp Thing, Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman, Fables, Hellblazer, Preacher and V for Vendetta.

Now that’s a freshtastic run. So happy Andrew and I got to celebrate Karen’s work in a Back Issue Bloodbath episode.
