Every movie trailer answers or challenges those 2 questions. The ham-fisted rebuttal comes swiftly however: no you don’t need to always see a movie to know it’s tank.

Do you really need to sit through a Michael Bay Transformers movie to know for sure? Tank is Tank. And Fresh…well Fresh is always Fresh. I’m down like I’m Brown for that.

Pennyworth (June 12)
Pennyworth looks…decent. I’m surprised. Pennyworth the 10-episode series debuts on EPIX on July 28th at 9 PM.

Sammy Verdict: I ain’t sitting through Gotham; long as this avoids on the nose Batman bits I could watch this.

Doctor Sleep (June 13)
Doctor Sleep is Stephen King’s latest book to movie…one of the most maligned genres. Kinda eh…with some meh. I didn’t enjoy King’s novel so that doesn’t help. November 8 if this interests you. Mike Flanagan though: our friend from The Haunting of Hill House and Ouija: Origin of Evil.

Sammy Verdict: This is right to Netflix…maybe even on an airplane.
