The Pampers Big Baby Award Idea

Out of all the heavily branded awards and associations in the NBA I wish Pampers would sponsor a Big Baby Award.

Every night from among all the NBA’s games, 1 Big Baby would be crowned. There’s always one. Sadly, lately there’s often more than one.

The player with the most Big Baby Awards at the end of the regular season (there will be consistent Big Babies, I’m looking at you Dwight Howard) can decide which at-risk community should receive an injection of free Pampers.

Last night’s Pampers Big Baby Award, goes to…of course, LeBron James: “I know that a lot of my fouls are not basketball plays,” James said late Wednesday inside the United Center. “First of all, Kirk Hinrich basically grabbed me with two hands and brought me to the ground. Taj Gibson was able to collar me around my shoulder and bring me to the ground. Those are not basketball plays – and it’s been happening all year. I’ve been able to keep my cool and try to tell Erik Spoelstra, ‘Let’s not worry about it too much.’ But it’s getting to me a little bit. Because every time I try to defend myself, I’ve got to face the consequences of a flagrant for me or a technical foul.”

Honestly, look me in the eye…you’re telling this wouldn’t work?! An at-risk community scores free diapers, Pampers get hilarious marketing, NBA fans get a free meme…this is all win. We could probably even cross promote this with Kleenex, can’t have a Big Baby without some tears.

Honestly, does anybody know somebody at Pampers? We gotta make this happen! They’ll feel like miners it’s so much gold.
