I wonder what happened to the Papa Don’t Preach Kid…


He should be 35 by now (the song was released on June 11, 1986). Do you think it all turned ok? Was it harder than anybody imagined? Hanging out with other kids before having your own is a lousy trailer…there’s just no way to prepare for having kids. And did Papa ever accept this bastard?

Madonna should write a sequel to this song. All these years later…how amazing would that be!!

Every time I hear it on the radio I wonder what happened to this kid. And while we’re at…another sonic bastard…what happened to the Love Child sung by Diana Ross & the Supremes?
