Comic Con To English…

Ok sometimes at comic book conventions, nerdfests, Nerdapaloozas etc. you’ll hear some women being classified as “pros.” Cons are not like Vegas where you can instantly play Ho or No. And her reputation is not being besmirched.

Rather pro means professional…she and her fantastically assembled cosplay is there to shimmy, jiggle and otherwise attract attention to products, a booth, an event etc. It’s a cosplay hustle…the Three-card Monte of the nerd world.

The saddest is when a dude drinks up a Pro’s attention like an energy drink…the crash that comes after, the lack of confidence….it’s not necessary.

Don’t be a victim: know your limits and play within them.
