Frankenstein: How A Monster Became an Icon: The Science and Enduring Allure of Mary Shelley’s Creation by Sidney Perkowitz & Eddy von Mueller (Pegasus Books, Nonfiction on sale January 2): Frankenstein: How A Monster Became an Icon…I’m guessing it was that rather sharp blazer…he sure did cut a fine figure. #RimShot #NewBookAlert for February 12, 2018
This month marks the bicentenary of #MaryShelley's iconic classic #Frankenstein! This book explores the cultural history of the monster which was born 200 years ago and became a Romantic (anti?)hero. From @Pegasus_Books! #Frankenstein200https://t.co/qKexPiMMMG pic.twitter.com/g33HOUilis

Brotopia: Breaking Up the Boys’ Club of Silicon Valley by Emily Chang (Portfolio, Nonfiction on sale February 6): Brotopia sounds like a Pauly Shore-Brendan Fraser movie. (Which I’d pay to see…) anyways this Silicon Valley book should be engaging as Emily is typically bright and insightful. #NewBookAlert for February 13, 2018
