At our big nerdfest…

Walking down this long carpeted corridor to the South Building where Toronto’s ComicCon is being held. In front of me is a civilian mom and her son, maybe 8 or 10 years old dressed head to toe as Captain America, plastic shield, whole nine.

After some cosplayers amble past the mom and child, with their fake swords and strange gets ups the mom turns to her son: “This?! This is what you and your nerd friends do?!”
