Talking to a small child in 2016…

“So…you been a good boy or is Santa gonna leave you a lump of coal?”

“What does that mean?”

“Oh…bad kids don’t get presents they earn a lump of coal.”

“Why?”

“You know…I dunno. Now that I think of it; this is a stupid paradigm. Well…there’s your life lesson for today: bad ideas take forever to die.”

“What is coal?”

“Right? You got it now. K: go find your mom before you ask me something else I can’t answer.”
