Every movie trailer answers or challenges those 2 questions. The ham-fisted rebuttal comes swiftly however: no you don’t need to always see a movie to know it’s tank.

Do you really need to sit through a Michael Bay Transformers movie to know for sure? Tank is Tank. And Fresh…well Fresh is always Fresh. I’m down like I’m Brown for that.

Ad Astra (June 5)
I’ve no clue what is happening in Ad Astra but I’ve sat through Gravity and The Martian and both sucked failing to offer any compelling sci-fi.

Sammy Verdict: If this is closer to Pitt’s Tree of Life I’m 100% IN!

Emanuel (June 6)
Executive produced by Stephen Curry’s Emanuel is a documentary about the Charleston church shooting (Dylann Roof) back in 2015. S’in theaters on June 17 and 19. Curry’s coming along as an executive producer (even with the mini-golf show!).

Sammy Verdict: I’m In!!

Marvel’s Jessica Jones: Season 3 (June 7)
Jessica Jones returns to Netflix on June 14. I never finished Season 2 (don’t think I started it…) though this looks decent. Like the Purple Man in Season 1 the antagonist is far more compelling than Jessica.

Sammy Verdict: Eh…I’ll watch for the bad guy.

Dark: Season 2 (October 23)
Netflix released another teaser for the German tv show Dark: Season 2. I’m automatically in…one of the most compelling tv shows Netflix has ever released. June 21 let’s go!!
