At the nerdfest…trying to figure out the map so I can visit a friend’s booth. This little girl totally decked out as Batgirl slides next to me…”Hi! I’m Batgirl.”

Distracted I look up: “Ok. Umm, I’m Sammy.” Back to my map. She just stands there waiting for her mom.

Sigh: fine, I’ll encourage the children. I put the map away: “So…what does Batgirl do?”
She breaks into a smile: “She fights crime and eats pizza!”

“Oh snap…s’a pretty good life.”
Her mom comes outta the washroom and they walk away, I go back to my stupid map.
