The Swan Is So Black: A Movie Review

I finally sat down to watch Black Swan. What a train wreck, that was a horrible movie. I ended up having to fast forward huge chunks just to move what little plot was there and shut it off after an hour and a half.

I’m assuming Natalie Portman dies at the end? She must’ve or else why did she nominated? Oh man. I returned the dvd to my friend, who also did not like it.

I asked him what he plans on doing with the disc…he’s like I’m throwing it out.

I thought the Wrestler from the same guy Darren Aronofsky was just as overwrought, without any presence or context or quality (I pressed the fast forward button a lot for Wrestler as well).

Languid lazy filmmaking for both but Swan was way worse. Be good to watch a true sucktacular movie like Roommate and wash this all away.

Roommate: “When college freshman Sara arrives on campus for the first time, she befriends her roommate, Rebecca, unaware that the girl is becoming dangerously obsessed with her.” Playing at a cinema near you!
