In the late 90s music was invaded by the boy bands: NSYNC, Backstreet Boys…LFO and I dunno who else.

The general conducting that war on our pop culture was Lou Pearlman. Who turned out to be a con man.

Via YouTube Lance Bass produced a 2019 documentary: The Boy Band Con: The Lou Pearlman Story.

It’s a compelling music doc and typically it’s part of YouTube Red which is a paid subscription service however there’s a free preview on right now.
