Last night at U2…the band pulled up out of the crowd Acrobat a local tribute band.

After handing over their instruments and mic real-U2 wandered over to the side of the stage. They watched Fake-U2 deliver a rousing version of Desire…Fake-Bono was fairly spot on.

Real-U2 were totally delighted I mean this was the first time they’d seen U2 live. Ever.

We’ve seen U2 live a number of times they hadn’t…think they dug it.

After Desire was over when Bono was taking back the mic from the Fake-Bono you could hear him mutter: “Love your early work.” Heh, made me chuckle, excellent zinger.
