In John Carpenter’s 82 classic The Thing the Antarctica snow concealed a hideous alien which when freed from its icy tomb spelled doom for humanity.

Certainly all nearby humans didn’t fare well; the late-arriving Americans especially stepped in it.

Sadly and similarly in the suburbs this spring thaw has been aggressively revealing hibernating dog poop; now freed from its icy tomb.

Step lively: watch out for strange…Things.
