NBA Playoffs 2014: Toronto Blows A 26-Point Lead!

This first round of the 2014 NBA Playoffs is intense…I dunno how fans with heart conditions can watch these games. Tell me tell me tell me you are watching the Craptors game. Wow. Heart and guts.

From ESPN: Raptors edge Nets in Game 5 after blowing 26-point lead: “Lowry scored a career playoff-high 36 points, including the go-ahead 3-pointer after Toronto had blown a 26-point lead, and the Raptors beat the Brooklyn Nets 115-113 to take a 3-2 lead in their first-round series.”

Conversely, blowing such a big lead, Craptors don’t deserve to win. There’s no reason to be in their current position. how on earth do you blow a lead like that? Madness. Well I mean the Craptors always collapse in the second half, typically in the 3rd. It’s a bad habit.

Coach Casey ain’t the guy to break it. For example Phil Jackson’s team were always deadly in the third, starting to clamp down on D and turning it up on O. That’s how you win well; win the battle of the third. (The Lakers struggled with Phil but that’s the Shaq-Kobe dysfunction of the Lakers. But yeah when rolling they owned the 3rd as well as the Bulls. Adjustments were the (Taco Bell) Key To Victory.

“A coach can be judged by his adjustments in the first minutes of the third quarter.” Phil Jackson often focused on adjustments and the 3rd; Coach Casey…eh not so much.

Man Craptors so did not deserve to win tonight’s game, blowing a lead that big. So Fired. (Even worse…50 Cent was the celebrity in attendance…they blew a 26-point lead in front of 50 Cent. So embarrassing!)
