My May 2010 Movies

Iron Man kicks off an odd Summer mix. Superheros, an SNL movie and documentaries. Utterly Delicious.  However only one movie is MUST SEE this month.

Other than that I’ll get off the couch but I’m not running to ye old local cinema. Still here’s the ones I’ve got flagged.

Iron Man

Yeah, yeah I’ll go check it but I’m not dealing with kids. I’ll take nerds over kids any day so it’ll be a late night screening for true.

Exit Through The Gift Shop

Yes! MY MUST SEE. I am all over this one. And who is fired? This has been out in the UK and New York City for months now. What fool thought this could succeed opening against Iron Man? Pink slip for that guy 100%.

The Trotsky

I’m curious. Not a Jay Baruchel fan (dude is alright like corndog at a Target cafeteria) but it’s quirky enough to check up on what’s going on. Of course if I don’t get to it in time and it ends up on dvd oh well. I’ll live. And still have a good life.

Robin Hood…?

Pass. Now…Rocket Robin Hood…we’ll talk.

MacGruber

Yup. Go ahead…say it. I know exactly what I’m getting too: all I want is 3 solid laughs. S’it. 3…I’m certain you guys can do it! I understand the money I spend on this could go help the poor but there it be. I’ve got comedy needs.

Harry Brown

Bit The Brave One-ish but I’m in! Some ruckus, Michael Caine can easily handle his business so I’m hoping this one is fun.

Shrek?

Meh…pass. That series stopped being amusing many movies ago.

Sex and the City 2

ummm…I have to say pass right? Movies like this make me thank God I’m single.

Friday May 28, 2010
George A. Romero’s Survival of the Dead

I’ll hit it. But the last one he did sucked! Thanks for blowing up a Super Dave Osborne dummy. Sheesh. This time around is it possible to secure more than a few hundred dollars for the budget?

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

ummm a white guy as the “Prince of Persia?” Look I didn’t see Clash of the Titans (based on the box office numbers nobody saw it) but this one? I dunno. I might sneak in, just how bad could it be? Or was that the wrong question to ask? You know for sure if I do see it I won’t admit it out loud. No way I’d put it on my record.

You? What are your movie plans this month?
