My 2010 oscar Nominations (Results)

I didn’t so well, huh…

Matt Damon actually had some wisdom in such oscar matters.

As he wisely said in Parade: “I think that the best way to judge movies is, like, 10 years after they’re released. I think they should actually do the awards that way. I think they should have done the Academy Awards this year for movies from 1998. I think it’s better to look at a movie and then step back and look at it again. I don’t think that the awards necessarily get it right. I think they get it wrong more often than they get it right.”

This year pretty much supports his belief, I mean Hurt Locker? For real? The likelihood of this movie having any impact or generating discussion 2 years from now…much less 5 or 10 years is highly doubtful.

Supporting Actress: Mo’Nique Precious

Makes no sense…it’s not like Mo has any sort of longevity as an actor so this must be a PC movie by the shallow academy.

Really? Seriously? This is the woman who gave us Point Break. ummm ok. And she beat James and Quentin…really? Seriously?
