The NBA Finals have barely concluded and yet we continue to promote this archaic notion of experience. It’s 2012. Twenty-twelve. Not only have the rules of the game changed but the game itself have changed.

Education and especially experience are not necessary, not anymore. To continue clinging to outdated ideals like experience is like passionately believing the world is flat. Or Elvis is alive…and skinny.

All that matters now is consistent, faithful execution when presented with any opportunity (which admittedly the Thunder did not do…that is why they lost. Not their age).

Execute well and you’ll be alright.
