Yo…if you go see Baby Driver this weekend, prepare to pay attention.

The scenes are choreographed to the music so focus on the unfolding action but also all the background: words on walls, shop windows etc. It’s a pay attention movie; don’t go in tired.

Baby ain’t like Moulin Rouge or Chicago etc. any of that ilk; can’t stand musicals in plays and especially in movies: it’s more like a 2 hour music video (that was one of my main concerns). BMW Films basically: cars, ruckus, guns, swears and tunes…the essential food groups.

(And I say all this knowing you’ll be paying for John Hamm another main concern, dude’s overwrought like a teenager dealing with end of the world Facebook drama. Same sacrifice was made for paying for Chris Pine’s Wonder Woman…Finest Hours my booty. Oh how I wish Frank Grimes had a movie podcast.)

Also having never been Atlanta seems like a sweet city.
