Decided to make a chip run, woke up hankering for Cool Ranch Doritos…on Canada Day (also woke up using words like hankering).

It’s exactly like going out into Zombieland…I’m not sure what to expect or when I’ll get back. I have to be prepared for anything.

Malls and store shelves are empty—no supplies—the few cars parked in the mall parking lot sideways taking up several spots like they’re in a hurry. Or abandoned.

And there’s nobody out there. It’s quiet…a little too quiet.

On the plus side the zipper on my jeans was down the entire Cool Ranch Doritos run…so not pulling it up…that’d be working on a long weekend.
